Greenville’s Mexican restaurants gather downtown on Main Street and Augusta Street, with more on Laurens Road, Wade Hampton Boulevard and East North Street in Overbrook. Two sit off Woodruff Road on Market Point Drive, and a drive-thru chain is on North Pleasantburg Drive.

How we made this list. The places come from OpenStreetMap records inside Greenville’s city limits, the same data behind our local directory, checked against each place’s own website on Oct. 16, 2026. We added the second Automatic Taco, Papi’s Tacos and White Duck Taco Shop stores because their own sites give Greenville city addresses. We left out El Vago, whose site lists only a Columbia restaurant; Tipsy Taco, whose site does not give a street address for its downtown store; Chuy’s, whose location page would not load; and places with no website of their own that we could not confirm a second way. The places

Asada on Wade Hampton Boulevard posts a core menu, rotating specials and a Saturday brunch menu on its site, and says it plans to sell its bottled sauces online.

Automatic Taco began as a food truck around 2015 and moved into a restaurant in 2019, its site says. It makes its tortillas by hand and pours additive-free tequila. The original is on Welborn Street near the West End; the second, Automatic Taco Overbrook, is on East North Street.

Cantina 76 is a locally owned, Mexican-inspired restaurant group with locations in Greenville and Columbia. The Greenville restaurant is on North Main Street. Every location offers to-go orders, patio seating and indoor dining, and dogs are welcome on the patios, the site says.

Chipotle Mexican Grill on Market Point Drive, off Woodruff Road, offers dine-in, takeout and delivery, according to its location page, and has a children’s menu.

El Navegante 2 Seafood Bar and Grill on Market Point Drive serves Mexican seafood, including ceviche, tacos and grilled dishes. The site takes table reservations and online pickup orders, and the restaurant also caters.

Holy Mōlli on South Main Street calls itself a fast-casual Mexican fusion restaurant, with tacos on the menu. It takes online orders through its site; hours are not posted there.

Papi’s Tacos serves Mexican street food at two downtown spots: Augusta Street and River Street near the Reedy River. It also caters taco orders for groups.

Taco Bell on North Pleasantburg Drive has a drive-thru that stays open later than its dining room. The hours above are from its location page.

White Duck Taco Shop serves a la carte tacos inspired by cooking from around the world, with beer, margaritas and mixed drinks. Customers order at the counter before taking a table. The chain started in Asheville, North Carolina, and has two Greenville shops.

Willy Taco on Laurens Road is part of a small Upstate group with restaurants in Spartanburg, Boiling Springs and Easley. It opens at 10 a.m. on Sunday.
