7 places to get a burger in Greenville, with hours and phones from their own sites: downtown, Rutherford Street, Wade Hampton and Pleasantburg Drive.
Last checked 2026-10-16. Refreshed every three months.
Greenville’s burger places run from two drive-ins that both date to 1954 to a downtown burger bar and the national chains. Downtown has Grill Marks on Main Street and Jack Brown’s off Augusta Street; Rutherford Street, north of downtown, has Carolina Drive-In and Hardee’s; and the rest are on Wade Hampton Boulevard, North Pleasantburg Drive and Congaree Road near Haywood Mall.
How we made this list. The places come from OpenStreetMap records inside Greenville’s city limits, the same data behind our local directory, checked against each place’s own website on Oct. 16, 2026. We left out Bad Daddy’s Burger Bar and Bohemian Bull, whose Greenville location pages did not load; Red Robin, Shake Shack and McDonald’s, whose sites blocked our check; and places with no website of their own that we could not confirm a second way. We will try them again at the next refresh. The list is alphabetical. It is not a ranking or a recommendation, and nobody paid to be on it. Run one of these places? Write to us to correct your entry.
