Check an address with the district’s Find Your School lookup. Greenville County Schools assigns students by subdivision, apartment complex and street address, and zones do not follow the city limits.

We ran 222 addresses spread across Greenville’s city limits through the lookup on Oct. 16; 22 were zoned for Summit Drive Elementary.

In the district’s 2026-27 subdivision list, streets zoned for Summit Drive Elementary go on to League Academy and Sevier Middle for middle school and Wade Hampton High, Berea High and Greenville Senior High Academy for high school, most often the first named.

The Board of Trustees approved the student assignment plan for the new Reedy Laurel Elementary and other schools on Oct. 22, 2024, according to the district’s board summary. The district’s assignment plan page says the plan made 24 boundary changes and moved about 900 students, about 600 of them to Reedy Laurel. Elementary changes fill in one grade a year starting with kindergarten in 2025-26, so for now some streets are zoned to one school for the lower grades and another for the upper grades. The district’s Reedy Laurel packet lists Summit Drive Elementary among the affected schools, a loss of 3 students based on 2023-24 enrollment.
